Kasco de-icers have been providing best-in-class ice prevention for over 50 years. This circulation eliminates and prevents ice formation around boats, docks, pilings, bulkheads, or any other feature which you need to protect from damaging ice formation. Kasco’s unique design provides superior flow and excellent energy efficiency to solve your de-icing needs in a cost-effective manner.

Kasco De-Icers circulate water to melt ice and prevent its formation in your boat’s slip

De-Icers can be hung from a vessel, dock, or other flotation device and positioned to move warmer water from a deeper channel to the shallower area where your boat is moored. This helps to protect your boat and dock from lifting damage due to”ice jacking” and the shearing and crushing damage caused by ice expansion.

Motor assemblies are sealed in an oil bath for long life, and feature ball bearings for smooth operation. All exposed metal is non-corroding stainless steel. Each assembly includes a power cord designed for low temperatures, a zinc anode for corrosion protection, and a grounded three-prong plug. Optional thermostat/controller cycles De-Icer automatically to save energy. All Kasco De-Icers are ETL approved to UL and CSA standards.

Suspended Operation: ?Kasco de-icers come complete for suspended operation from a dock or boat in either a vertical or angled position. Horizontal Float: Using a Kasco De-Icer with the Horizontal Float allows you to mount the de-icer away from docks and can create a directional current to keep the ice open. The float allows the de-icer to move up and down with the tide as the water level changes. The Horizontal Float can also be used in the summer to help improve water quality, eliminate stagnant water, and move floating debris.
